The Victor Harbor Golf Club course, not long by today's standards, needs straight shot making in order to score well. It is accorded an Australian Course Rating of 71 and is 5,962 metres. The WGSA rating is 73 and the ladies course is 5,351 metres. Fairways are generally fairly narrow and there are many trees waiting to catch the wayward shots. The course is rated number one in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Tee shot on the first hole gives a really exhilarating and breathtaking start as the tee is elevated high above the fairway adjacent to the Clubhouse with magnificent views of Encounter Bay. The Parndana Golf Course is within easy walking distance of the Parndana Township. It is an 18 hole course with tree lined fairways and sand scrapes. The course itself is on land, which is slightly undulating, and a challenging feature of play is that many of the holes cross small creeks, which have running water in the wintertime. The course, which was established in 1981, is typical of many country courses where the members carry out the maintenance. Competition golf is played in the wintertime from March to October and visitors are always welcome. Competition days are on Sunday for men, hit off 12pm and ladies play on Tuesday, hit off 9.30am there is ample room on the course for people who simply wish to have a hit on those days. The Kingston South East Golf Club has been located on Robe Road since 1957. The course has 18 greens with lush green fairways, 5,915 metres, Par 73 with an Australian course rating of 72. The fairways are tree lined and are gently undulating which makes for easy walking for all age groups. A summer tournament is held on the first Sunday in January each year for both men and women. A winter tournament is held over four days in late July or early August each year. Bar facilities are available on competition days, Saturdays and Wednesdays during daylight savings, and Saturdays and Thursdays during winter as well as for tournaments. The Golf Club is part of the Southern Ports Golf Week held from the last Saturday in February to the first Saturday in March each year.

Minlaton Golf Club is a challenging eighteen hole golf course (par 72) set amid natural native vegetation with sand greens. The Clare Golf Club is an 18 hole par 72 course with an Australian courses rating of 70. The course is 5,852 metres and is set in the heart of the Clare Valley and is one of South Australia's finest country courses. Set amongst vineyards, woodlands, lakes and creeks, this course provides numerous natural challenges and provides stunning scenery and the chance to see one of the many kangaroos living on the course. The split-level Clubhouse features a Sprig bar with outside barbecue area and lawns. There is a stocked shop with a resident golf professional on hand for golf tuition. Upstairs there is a function room with a balcony overlooking the course and surrounding countryside. The Clare Golf Club caters for individual players, groups or corporate outings. The function room can seat 150 people with catering available for weddings or social functions.
