Sculpture for Clyde includes the world class sculpture park at Willinga Park, north of Batemans Bay. Outdoor sculptures entered for the competition will be exhibited alongside the stunning international collection that already exists at Willinga Park. Indoor sculptures will again be exhibited in the heritage shop on Clyde Street, overlooking the beautiful Clyde River.
A Student Sculpture Walk has also been added to the event. Batemans Bay’s CBD will be alive with interest for artists, art lovers and anyone who loves to explore new ideas.
The unique Acquisitive Prize of AUD50,000 has attracted widespread attention from sculptors. The AUD5,000 Non-Acquisitive Prize, Emerging Artist Award and several other categories will ensure a variety of themes and forms – all for your interest, enjoyment and enlightenment.
The winning sculptor will have their work permanently displayed in the Batemans Bay Sculpture Walk, which will grow incrementally, with the addition of each year’s winning sculpture.
